Newbie Scratcher - Game Development in Scratch I

Coder’s Experience: new to coding, no prior experience required
Curriculum Description: Our young coders will learn basic coding skills and game design processes by making animations and games in Scratch. They will learn to create their own characters, animate them, choose colorful backdrops and even add sounds and music– and of course, how to tell a story through their game. Going beyond the basic coding skills, this course will teach kids how to creatively express themselves, problem solve and think logically. By the end of the course, your young coder will be able to share a library of games they designed and coded.
Concepts we will cover: Computer Science, Coding, Algorithm, Sequence, Events, Variables, Loops, Debugging, Animation and more. No boring lectures - only hands-on classes!
